Privacy Policy
- Our Commitment To Your Privacy.
Your personal privacy is very important to us. At
ECWH, we recognize your interest in how we collect,
retain, and use information about you and your church
community. Our goal is to develop and maintain your
trust while providing you with a host of resources
designed to enhance the online objectives of your
Episcopal church. In all our endeavors, we are
committed to protecting your privacy and we recognize
our obligation to keep the information you provide
confidential and secure.
- Collecting, Using, And Sharing Information.
- Collecting and Using Information.
ECWH collects information in a number of ways
for the purpose of serving your needs and
administering our relationships.
- Personal Information You Give Us.
The type and amount of information collected
depends on the service you subscribe to. Generally,
we persist basic information such as your name and
email. However, as a function of the church
applications we provide to serve your church
community, additional personal information about
your members may also be persisted.
- ECWH "Cookies" and Your Information.
In order to maintain the state of the
application during a session, some session
variables are maintained using "cookies". Although
cookies maintain temporary state information, they
cannot alone be used to identify a user and cannot
be reused after the session has expired.
- Online Surveys.
ECWH values user feedback and may from time to
time post surveys via our common application
frameworks for product analysis. This feedback is
instrumental to future enhancements of our service
and helps ensure we're meeting your needs as well
as the needs of your church community. Any input or
feedback that you or your members provide is
submitted anonymously.
- Automatic Information and Product Development.
ECWH automatically collects the following
information from site users: IP addresses, browser
types, domain names, access times, referring site,
and browser functionality.
ECWH improves its services by analyzing the
activity of our users: which services are used, how
long users typically stay in a given area, and
whether a user completes or fails to complete a
given process.
In each case, the information derived is not
linked to personally identifiable information.
- Sharing Information with Third Parties.
Any data that is shared with third-parties will
be aggregated and anonymous (without personally
identifiable information) except as otherwise noted
within this privacy policy.
You should be aware that in rare instances, such
as in response to a subpoena, we might be legally
required to disclose information about you or one
of your church members.
ECWH does not sell or otherwise provide personal
information to outside parties.
- Your Options For Personal Information.
From time to time, we may send you or your church
members emails designed to help the growth of this
ministry, sometimes by providing information on new
products, services, or requesting user feedback.
If you or your church members wish to have your name
removed from the our email lists, the emails will
always feature a way to opt-out. Thereafter, we will
cease to include you or your specific church member on
our list and the lists we share with our third party
partners above, unless you notify us otherwise.
Though you may opt-out of receiving general emails,
you cannot opt out of receiving emails pertaining to
administrative updates, such as Privacy Policy
revisions. For this reason, it is required that you
maintain a valid email address in the Contact
Information utility in cPanel and provide a valid
mailing address and phone number for your organization
when requesting an account.
